Looking for feedback

Ok, First things first, I am aware I am going to get as many answers to this question as there are owners so here goes....
Let me start at the beginning- I bought my truck about a year ago, certified used at my local dealer. I recently picked up a nail and went to have the tire plugged and discovered that the truck had 4 ply tires on it, essentially turning it into a 1/4 ton truck...now the fault is partially mine as I didn't catch this at the time of sale, but the dealership is shouldering their responsibility for the error buy paying for 1/2 of the cost of a new set of tires
I am now in the position of buying tires for my truck-as of yet I don't do much towing/hauling but that will most likely change in a year or two

I have searched diligently for reviews for the Kelly Springfield Edge A/T's and haven't found any. I haven't run Kelly's since owning my 91 Ranger and from what I remember they were pretty good. My other vehicles I run Michelin tires, but they are street vehicles...any thoughts?

Toyo Open Country AT 2...!!

As soon as my crappy Michelin tires wear down a bit more- I'll put on a set of 295/65/20 Toyo

Haven't heard "Kelly Springfield" in a long time... I have good memories of them though no experience with them and our heavy trucks...

4 ply tires huh... Like P spec? Wow... lucky you didn't get hurt with those on. (dealer is lucky too)

I like coopers really well. Last few trucks I have bought came with BFG's on them. Good tow tire, but not so good in the mud and snow.

I have the P rated Toyo AT2s on my Escape and I am not thrilled with them.
When I replace the original tires on my F350 I will most likely put BFG AT KOs on for the snowflake rating. I hope we have a good winter in Oregon and that they come in handy.
P rated tires on a Superduty is terrible.... I am amazed that any tire shop would consider it.....

I second the BFG AT's. I am from Alaska and run those on my Jeep. Even in negative weather, the tread stays soft and traction is excellent. Only tires I've seen better in the snow/ice are studs or blizzaks. Combined with the 50k I got on those tires on my 06 F350 (mostly towing), I wouldn't put anything else on my truck. Just my opinion though.

These were the tires on my previous truck. Cooper discovery STT. I have a DRW now and can't get them.

I just purchased a set of LT275/70R18 BFG AT KO2 for my F350 to replace the stock M's with 41K on them. They still had 10/32" tread, but I didn't trust them for the winter with Mtn driving. The KOs are nice and quiet on the freeway and should be much better when I am hunting, or driving over the passes. Got 4 of them out the door with road hazard for $942.

OK, the K/S are on...have put 1k on them on the highway......road noise...above average...no whine at 70 MPH.....old man winter is here and the first real test of traction in progress, the K/S Edge AT2 dig in, I mean REALLY DIG IN, you can feel it....takes a bit of concentration to keep her straight. I have pulled a few folks out of the ditch..no problems....unless you count the Chevy and Dodge guys to proud to be pulled out by a Ford.....lol
