My first Expedition

Hey expy owners
A couple of weeks ago I bought a 2000 XLT 5.4 4x4 really clean runs great, won't be my daily driver backup and trail rig.
I have a few bugs
locks Unlock sometimes but slow.
fan for rear air is not coming on.
and I'm missing the O/D button cover little thing drives me crazy found a couple online place for it.

I have a few things in mind for more trail worthy but nothing set in stone yet???

Just wanting to introduce myself here spend a lot of time in the diesel section.

Here's a link for a very common door lock fix. It's caused by a heat sensitive "thermistor" which doesn't allow the lock mechanism to overheat if someone (child) holds the lock button down for too long.
It's a long thread, specific to the F series trucks but the Expy's have a slightly different actuator set up.
Enjoy.

On your rear air fan, isn't there an over ride switch on the dash that needs to be in the correct position, if my memory serves me?

I have no idea but will look never had anything with rear air, that would be great if it's something simple like I don't know how it works.
