Gear Indicator

Took this picture with 2K on the truck when we were headed to TX, no indication of what gear the truck was in:

This morning on the way to work, it was showing what gear the truck was in, took this picture in the parking lot. The truck was not in the shop the last few days so no reflash or upgrades and I have not been playing in the settings, can not even find a setting for it, anyone have any ideas, the truck has just over 5250 miles now?

We've all had it happen and wondered how to get it back at one time or another.

Yep + turns it on and - turns it off, I keep it on all the time. It amazes me how fast it shifts.

Just had the same thing happen at dealer went through 2 techs before one knew what it was. Also the backup sensors use to have a way to turn them on and off so when the tail gait is down they couldn't figure that out anybody have an idea on that one.

For the backup sensors when you put the truck in reverse it should come up on the dash and give you the option to turn it on or off

When I have my tailgate down the alarm comes on and in the information center it will give you the option to turn it off. It will come back on if you restart the truck.
