I have been looking for the past couple days for what a couple dealers have called an "albatross." We found one yesterday but it is way the hell across the country.

F350 Lariat, Race red, 4x4, Gasser.

Today I was informed the truck is locked in and is going to be shipped via flatbed to me soon.

It has everything I wanted except cab lights, and 4.30 gears. Both of which I can add and don't need right away.

I didn't want the diesel because I wouldn't work it the way it needs to be worked, and I work only 10 miles from my house and didn't want to deal with the regen issue.

Now for the wait.

 

Picked it up yesterday. Tinted it today. I will say one thing about the Race Red, the pictures really don't do it justice. They really pop and look awesome in person.



Dealer is waiting on my Fox 2.0 shocks to come in. Once they show up the leveling kit is going on. Going to probably buy her some new shoes as well.

Nice truck! When I get to placing an order (am moving house/business atm), it'll be a race red CC gasser as well. Starting to lean towards a long bed and will get the 4.30s, and am happy with camel cloth seats so an XLT.

 

If I keep looking at all these truck pics, I'm going to need a bigger garage! Congrats on your find. Looks awesome!

 

Thank you. I was on the fence back and forth on the race red, as I had only seen them in pics. I am glad I went ahead and pulled the trigger on it. While waiting, I had searched out and looked at a ton of them.

I will say, coming from my 2004, this thing is like driving a space ship. I had to actually read the manual to figure out what all the buttons did on this thing.
