I'm looking at getting Kelderman or Air Lift air bags for my 2017 250 CCSB. Is the ride quality noticeably better? If so would you notice it on the interstate?

Are there any advantages/disadvantages between the two?

I tow a 40ft GN with 100HP Tractor and attachments or loaded with hay once or twice a month.

 

We have a 450 or 550 with a kelder an system at work. It's a 2010. It's terrible. Always leaking down and the compressor takes 20 mins to air it up. I usually run an air hose to the tank cause it's faster. I think for an occasional use truck or show truck it would be slick but don't know how they stand up to daily driving and work.

I've got it on my new truck. Best riding big truck I've ever been in and I've had quite a few. Sounds like your just wanting better ride without a lift though. Spend the money and get the good compressor and tank setup and you won't have the issues the rustyshakelford is describing.

 

rides like a half ton smooth as hell . best upgrade ive ever done .. full kelderman air lift . truck keldermans pic truck for 2017 f 350 /450 5 to 10 inch on there site .. unbelievable smooth ..

Kelder on both ends, or just the rear. I am considering front and rear on my 450.Duhh, I just looked back at your pic. Question answered!

some extra air tanks ect and install of course . kelderman did this truck ..its an intense install let the pros do mine .

 

Fountain... What kind of ride quality would I get going to the full Kelderman system?? Empty daily driving?? Is it a game changer? I'm staying with stock height, looking for ultimate ride quality

 

it rides as good as it gets ... I'm super happy .. super

 

I had the stock height system on my 2015 Ram 2500 Cummins and 2015 Ram Powerwagon. I really liked the ride (soft) as well as the ability to adjust for height and load. Never had leak issues but I installed myself on both trucks.

 

Has anyone seen any air bags for a 2017 F450? I have looked just about everywhere and have not seen a single set for sale.


Would appreciate any help.
