RPM?
What should the RPM be at when idling? Mine sitso at about 600, I thought that idle was supposed to be at 1 RPM

what year and engine??????
and I hope you mean 1,000 rpms.. not ONE....
my Gas 6.2 in park is 600... and 500 in drive and warm. using the factory dash gauge.

Yes that's about right....1 sounds wrong

6 to 700 is normal hot idle.
