Complete floor pan assembly
Anyone out there actually have experience with LMC's complete floor pan assembly? I will need to replace: rocker panels, cab corners, step plates, floor pans, and front cab braces on my '61 f100, and my body professional friend is suggesting I consider it. Thanks.

Well, Id venture to say no. They are brand new (4 months) so I am sure not many have bought them.
EDIT: I will add that a few months ago a shop next to where I work purchased a complete floor pan for a Chevy C20 truck and it was actually thick steel like the original and it fit like a glove they said.

Just a heads up on sourcing parts. I just bought a radiator core support from Dennis Carpenter. It arrived yesterday in an LMC Truck box. The part# on the box corresponds exactly with LMC's listing for this same part.
In corresponding with DC personnel, they admit to selling LMC parts. Excuse was that they can't make everything. That doesn't align with the concept of "Truth in Advertising." Who knows, you might get a DC part when you order from LMC.
I'm going to keep the part because 1) it looks OK to me at this point and 2) there are no other, better sources and 3) the price was the same.
This makes comparison shopping more difficult than it ought to be.

I buy some of the NOS parts from Green Sales Company and they also resell Dennis Carpenter reproduction parts. Good thing in my experience is they will tell you if the part they have for sale is NOS or reproduction. Here's a snap of the web page with an arrow to the info.
So if DC resells LMC and Green Sales resells DC, is Green Sales in effect sometimes reselling LMC parts, too? Tough to know without asking, I guess.

Try this Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market
You never know if the listings are current until you call them. I came up with one in OK. for $200.

Yes, whenever possible, not to mention the cost of shipping. Appears Grant is a proud resident of the great state of Oklahoma where I believe there are a few Ford part supplier's relatively close. I purchased numerous parts from Obsolete Ford parts in Oklahoma and was very pleased with the quality of their merchandise; however, I believe Obsolete Ford parts is now Obsolete Classic Ford parts and I am not familier with there inventory.
Again, welsome to FTE, looking forward to your input and post pic's if and when U can.
