6.0 intake on 7.3

I did this last night. I bought the 6.0 battery tray and built a bracket to hold it. I moved the battery and so on. Well I will say that I out flows the AIS. Noise is down compared to the new style S&B. So for now it's staying on. Oh and my egts are down and so is the smoke. With my injectors and the AIS it was just to restrictive as most have said. I just wanted to confirm for myself.

How do you determine it outflows the AIS? What about the S&B?

And yes, PICS!!

I will be towing today so I'll see how it does. Empty it just barely moves the filter
Kinder. With the AIS it would suck it 3/4 cloesd.

AFE 2 never moves the filter minder unless filter is badly clogged

Well I like how quiet it is compared to my s&b but after towing and seeing the filterminder sucked completely closed I'm a little concerned that it my not be flowing enough.

From what I've heard getting the connections sorted (plus moving the battery) is the trick.

Sure ya got it turned the right way?

I wonder if 3D printed ABS would hold up under the hood to help adapt the 6.0 filter to the 7.3?

It really wasn't that hard to do. Maybe three hours tops if you have all the parts ready and can weld.
