Well I'm glad everyone's happy I had other information that I was willing to share as you can tell by that website it has endless information on diesel engines, however you need to be a Ford technician to get into the deeper forms. My friend at my local dealership gave me his information to login during the weekends when he's not using it I have full access to the repair manuals which every weekend i am downloading and turning into a pdf or ISO so you can download the file. One other interesting note which I don't want to start a rumor until I get more information there's a continuous conversation about fuel contamination of suspended water which naturally occurs in all diesel fuel that large amounts of rust are found on all internal pump parts regardless of Maintenance practice. I will try to copy and paste one of the conversations from the Ford engineers basically saying they are aware of it and there's nothing that can be done pass it to the customer and thank the EPA rules and regulations OMG this could possibly be my last diesel vehicle regardless of which brand I buy they are all affected take care

Radium, If you are talking about this website Diesel Technician Society, The owner of that website frequents here pretty often too, and helps out quite a bit. Your buddy may get his rights revoked if he were able to figure out who it is, especially since you are telling everyone here what you are doing.
Don't get me wrong, I'd love access to that website too, but not by breaking their rules. I think they just want to keep all of us shade-tree mechanics, and our comments out of their forums.

Well thanks for your concern but I'm not worried and I personally don't blame Ford or any manufacturer for this problem it's just good to know it exists and it's a risk we take owning these vehicles. It actually is funny to read some of the comments in this site from mechanics who also made the request for a more robust filtration system which doesn't exist short of using a clot filter which would guarantee no water passing through, but the risk to other drivers on the road when your truck decides to shut off Midstream is obviously never going to happen. And as I stated it is just a rumor until proven people make statements on this web page that are wrong too . I lived on a farm my entire life and I've watched tractors from the early fifties to the modern common-rail nightmares which regularly occur on the farm, and quite frankly the tractor dealers are much more open to tell you there's nothing you can do it's a throwaway technology be grateful you got your 2000 hrs and dump it take care

Radium, thanks for the link. I had seen the first book about the 2011 release and always did want to know more about the 2015-16 engines. I *LOVE* these type of technical detail books. I want to know every last detail about the engines and the truck as a whole. Now that I have a 2017, I want to know about the changes to that engine as well. Reps sent.
