I don't believe there are downloads, at least that I know of.
You have to phisically buy a diagram. Autozone offers some free basic wiring schematics for vehicles but I believe they're pretty generalized and vauge, but depending on your needs they may be sufficient.
I actually just bought a diagram for my 86 on Rockauto earlier today, should arrive in a few days. If you can wait till then I may be able to help you out.

I have two sets of the Electrical & Vacuum Troubleshooting Manual, better known as the EVTM, on my web site. The EVTM takes each circuit or set of circuits and puts them on one page. That's as opposed to the book of wiring diagrams, which I also have but haven't put on the web site, that makes you follow a wire from page to page to page. And, the EVTM explains how the circuit works, how to troubleshoot it, and where the components are.
The 1981 version is here: 1981 EVTM - Gary's Garagemahal. It might be the best for you to use on your 1982 as most things are the same. However, the computer system hadn't been adopted yet, so if you are needing that wiring look to the 1986 version: 1986 EVTM - Gary's Garagemahal

Do not be surprised if Ford's lawyers find you and make you stop this because of copyright or IP or some such claims - as what happened with the guy who ran fordfuelinjection.com.
They are generally pretty lenient towards enthusiast sites but there are limits, and I would imagine how gung-ho the lawyer is could play into it....

Generally, a content holder will have a DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) Take-down order issued to the so-called offending site(s) long prior to any direct action is taken by the content holder.
The term "content holder" is used due to the DMCA not requiring formal copyrights be held/registered, in order for a Take-down order to be issued. Somethings are better suited for PM....(he says from the corner of his mouth).
