The chassis was ordered at my local Ford dealer, Rice Ford in Warsaw, In. The wheelbase is 176”. It has a 40 gallon tank aft and a midship 34 gallon tank. The West-Coast style custom-built bed was ordered from Cabriolet in White Pigeon Michigan. It is their Super-Duty series conversion with many storage areas. All storage compartments lock. It is equipped with a fifth wheel hitch and/or a gooseneck hitch. Both go with this truck! It also has a heavy-duty Reese Titan receiver at the rear. The rear axle ratio is a 4.88. It does have an exhaust brake for heavy duty hauling.The fuel tanks are monitord with a dash-mounted LCD screen indicating fuel gallons in each tank manufactured by Trax/UFS (a transfer flow auxillary fuel system manufacture).The brake control is a heavy duty Tekonsha Sentinel. The interior is a cloth 40/20/40 split bench seat.The cab also has keyless entry, premium AM/FM stereo with cassette player and power windows.
