The Ford basic part numbers are: 9A626, 9A603, 9C670, 9652.
Welcome to FTE

Which air cleaner does your truck have...dry type-uses a paper filter or an oil bath air cleaner? Both were available in these trucks, the parts do not interchange.

Basic Ford part numbers require a prefix and suffix to make up a complete part number. I will look up, list and search for them...to see if anyone has NOS parts...as soon as you post which air cleaner your truck has.

EDIT: See post # 5.

its the dry type. yeahi figured out theres a supposed to be a suffix and prefix to the parts number but the schematics i have only have the middle numbers for some reason. makes its a genuine nightmare to find anything.

> > THE 1964/72 FORD TRUCK PARTS CATALOG is available on a CD from hipoparts.com for 20 bucks. The pic you posted from Fordification is from this same CD catalog = Illustration Section 96, page 12. < <

Parts catalog pics only have basic part numbers shown = You need the TEXT section of the catalog to get the complete part number.

Buy the above CD catalog, it includes the whole tamale! Text & Illustration Sections & Master Cross Reference Section at the end of the Text Section: Manufacturer part numbers to Ford part numbers & vice versa.

I have the CD, an original loose leaf paper version, an original microfiche version.

Need the same parts for an 69 F100 after D96,001

I am looking for the same shroud and tube (I think it is also called a heat riser) for a 69 Ford F100, 240, SN E90398, dry filter, so it is after the SN provided below. I have the CD referred to, but can seem to figure it out.
Anyway, could you help me identify the appropriate parts and where I might find it? I don't need the snorkel, just these (9a603, 9c670, 9652). Appreciate any assistance.

Part doesn't match

So I ordered part D9TZ9A603A and the bracket from Green. The bracket is identical to the broken one I have, but the shroud/tube is definitely different. The angle where the bracket mounts is about 60 degrees off, the tube is longer and the shroud is very different. At this point, I can't tell if it will work. here are pics. The black one is the new one. Question is whether it will work? Thanks.

I'm sure it will work. The part number you purchased is a Dentside part that Ford had used as a "replacement" for earlier models back in the day. The C9UZ9652A Kraft Paper duct is a pretty long cut to fit piece. From memory I want to say it is around 14". So it will be long enough to reach this shroud.

After looking at the old part again, it appears that it may have been bent in a couple of places...for reasons unknown as it looked like it fit correctly when I took it off. And if straightened, it definitely matches the new one more closely. Thanks again!
