eBay.

You can also grab them cheap in the junk yard. Well - out here you can. I have a buddy who lives right next to a yard so he sees when the new shipments come in. When he was actually paying attention and going to the yard regularly he's find about 1 a month over there. Hed get them for like $300 and sell them for $600-800 to get some rent $$.

Also - try calling gear vendors. I believe they sell refurbished/rebuilt units for like $1500. Sure that is still a lot of $$, but it's HALF of what they cost new and they are all serviced by the company that builds them...

toolboxjunky is starting off with a positive reputation.
which trans and converter

So which C6 should I find? Big block or Mid or small? What size converter should I get. The engine adapters are different. I already have a 95 5.9 ready to go and a gear vendor for a c6 already just need adapter plate and transmission. I will be putting it in a 94 crew dually with 4.10's 2wd. It has a ZF in there now. But I would rather have a automatic. I plan on pulling about a 10k trailer.

Hell let me know when another 600 dollar gearvendor hits and I'll buy it. I gave alot more than that for mine
