Well, the boys got back into the top 25 in the USA today poll. Just barely, though. They are tied with North Carolina for the 25th spot!

I know this is a Husker thread but lets give the University of Nebraska Kearney Lopers a slap on the back (11 - 1 this year to date). They won their first round of Division II Football playoffs on Saturday. They are ranked 6th in the nation and next Saturday they play Minisota-Diluth. Gooooooooooo Lopers!

Hey George, they are still a University of Nebraska team, so that fits in here just fine!

As for the Huskers, they need this win this week. I think if they can shut down K-state's running game, they'll have them. I think Suh and the boys rise up for Senior day...

Well, back in the top 25....for a few days anyway. Sitting at #20 and #21. Now, what will happen in Texas. Honestly, I don't think they have a chance, unless,UNLESS, they play perfect ball, offense gets rolling, and the defense can corral McCoy, and make him throw the whole game. Oh, yeah. and put him on his ass a few times, too. I'll have to put some thought into a prediction....

George, we can only hope for something like that. The odds are steeped against the boys pretty bad. If we win, that was the score I was thinking also. But, just to be different, I'll say....

Just got to hope for the opposite of the first Big 12 Game, when NU was ranked at #3, and got beat by an unranked Texas team.


Of course, Nebraska had the flu for most of that week, so they weren't playing well that day.
