I had 2 bazooka tubes, 6.5", behind the seats that wore out. then I put a 10" JBL 2 ohm in a wedge box. it works but ain't got any punch.
Amp power is 90 x 2 @ 2 ohms or 180 x 2 @ 4 ohms
What can I get in this regular cab?
I wonder if bazooka tubes 'side firing' is better than wedge box 'front firing'?

Figure out the biggest possible box you can fit back there. Make a prototype out of cardboard or foam or something. Calculate the internal volume using geometry or by filling it with buckets of dirt. Once you know the volume (in liters or cubic feet), someone here should have advice on what woofers can fit there.
All I drive is regular cabs, first try turning your speaker around to bounce the air off the back of the cab, the principle behind this is that it takes a full 12 ft for bass to really shine, so any way you can lengthin the distance between source and destination will make the bass more prominent, for the longest time I ran one 12" kicker wedge behind the front seats with 500 watts hitting against the back of the cab and reverberating against the rest of the inside, its enough to make your teeth rattle and your eye sight blur... so 100 watts should make decent sound, but I would suggest finding a cheap 200/300 watt amp to keep from screwing up your speaker, they aren't designed to run on low amps, and I have blown a few speakers (new mind you) from underpowering them. I don't have any suggesting with bazookas because I don't use/like them.

I would start with working with the room you have to work with for a box and then we can go from there. The right sub in the prefect enclosure will by far out perform any prefab system.
As far as amps go, you will want something that matches the sub. You will want a quality amp with a little headroom. don't buy cheap, it's just more hassle then it's worth. If you buy right the 1st time, it will be cheaper then replacing junk over and over.

You can fit up to 3 10"s depending on your design. My buddy has a older chevy reg cab. about the same size as your f150 and he has 2 10"s they also make shallow mount subs.
