Thumbs up Welcome to our newest members - branden.w

Hey everyone, I want to welcome our newest member, branden.w. Joef350 recommended he join our chapter. Branden.w has an '87 F250 diesel, so I can see why he and JoeF350 know each other.

Once again, welcome aboard.

Chevies make good snowplows... I am not sure about trucks, but as a snow plow they are good.

As for your truck, I am not shocked you just turned back upright and drove it away. I did a head on with telephone pole at 30 mph in mine back in 1985. I just backed up, checked the radiator and then drove it home with no problems, except my dad's reaction. I think that did more damage.

Once again, welcome to the group. Now I have to figure out where your town is that it gets snow.

He is up on hwy 89 east of Lake Almanor.

Welcome to the group.

I drive through Quincy every once in a while on my way to Reno. You are definitely in the snow. LOL

Karl - what model chevy do you recommend as the best plow? I am thinking Corvette since it has a nice slope to direct the snow. LOL

yea the chevy is the same year as my truck its a 6.2 idi. it does the job the front end is really solid so it holds our big ass plow, lol. my ford is almost put back together, hopefully tomorrow. many problems though, like the ignition actuator! it takes two hours to get to that cheap part!! lol anyways

Nice country up in the Lake Almanor area.

I use to camp/fish in a little place called Butt Valley Reservoir, just a stones
throw from Lake Almanor.
