Eddiec1564 is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
My ole Blue Mule has pulled many trees out, including roots! Its fun and addcting too! Used to get into "who's truck and pull out the biggest trees..." I usually win, nothing beats the Big 6 and the NP435 setup.

Yes that is good fun, wish I had pictures from when I did it. X2 on the 300 and np435 combo. I have a truck very similar to Eddiec1564's, Except I sometimes call it "old blue"
anyways, 1986 f250 4x4 np435 3.55 gears......pulls like a tractor

I got an 85 F150 W/ a NP and a 300 called ol' blue. only thing she pulled out of the ground was a basket ball hoop.
She'll tug 12k GCW though.
Kiss my a$$ new trucks. My old ones will shake you down, get better milage, and ask for seconds.

BTW econoline 150- nice PIC.

Just another day on the job for a old blue Ford. It's kinda cool everywhere you drive you see these mashed up trashed up beat up old Fords (not yours)still showing up for work Heck my PO thought mine had it's day but a little spit, a few choice words and a busted knuckel or two and Fords back to work.
Fun pics!

Gotta love first gear in the t-18/t-19/NP435. I think you could put a 100 horse/120 torque 4 banger in a truck with the NP435 and move mountains haha!
