Trans thermo guage question....

First off I'm not even sure what trany I have, I believe it to be a E40D because the truck is a 93 F250 4X4 with a 7.3 diesel and the transmission is an automatic with overdrive. The id sticker on the door reads 'E' under the Trans space.

Assuming is is a E40D, I understand from lurking that the best place to install a temperature gauge is in the pressure test port.... If the above info is correct my question is this; What is the id and tpi od the port so I can get the proper sending unit to screw into it???

The port is a 1/8" NPT dryseal thread.

Thanks, I'll look for a gauge with sending unit that size.
