I think from the over the years of washing down the motor compartment didn't help matters but I do have pics from the inside of my thermostat housing, where it seats in there, rusty color in there too.

I replaced both upper and lower hoses, belt, stat, stat housing, and installed the Dieselsite filter to boot. I though the only issue I was going to be facing was the heater hoses down the road, but I'm going to have to investigate the condition of my lower housing.
From Joe's pic's below, without going out and from what I remember the last time I was under there, my lower housing doesn't look like neither of those pump housings. My lower housing looks like the hose goes right up to neck of the pump, but theres a stamped housing there. To sum it up, looks just like the top one.

Same comment as above.

onelionhunter is starting off with a positive reputation.
Price

When I did my flush and swap a few months back, I got the Delo concentrate for 15.95 a gallon at my local case tractor dealer, was the cheapest around and has the "not in my lifetime" change interval to boot.

IIRC, there is also a "short" neck that goes on the lower connection. I believe mine has the same one. I'll go look...

LOL... Well, I didn't go look. I had a bunch of work stuff come up right after I posted that.

But I'm sure it's like yours, Mike.

Not to get O-T, but I wonder how many different pump neck configurations there are, different years and such. Just ordering an aftermarket and being sure what one to order..good to know to ask now..
