The A/c recently quit blowing on the 1,2,and 3 settings only will work on the high, i replaced the switches,I got a used one from Ebay, it does the same thing, is this the problem or should i be looking at the fan motor maybe? any help would be appriciated

Look for the resister block in the blower housing close to the blower (4wires).

Either the thermal protection has blown ($2.00 @ radio shack+solder) or the plug has corroded/melted. A replacement block is available at the stealer, $40-50.00

Did you test the old one, was it the resister coils or the thermal protection (looks like a big diode)?

What was the $$$ for the new one??
