Looks nice shape. Looks like it was redone with new paint. The Ford letters are missing from the endgate. At $1500 I WOULD SAY IT IS A GOOD DEAL. But the ad does not say if it has a motor or trans. It would of been better if he rolled it out for the pictures. Cannot see it fully. Best to see in person. The photos help, but do not show flaws in the vehicle.
Rust free and looking that good is a deal for us here in Canada.

If the body is as solid as it looks, yes, could be a very good deal. As long as everything is there, even if it runs lousy, still a good deal. A lot easier to fix mechanics then the body and tracking down 40 year old parts to replace.

Its best to look at it in person. If its in fairly good shape, go for it! I paid 1500 for mine and ive put at least 1500 more into it to make it presentable.

It looks like a geat deal, but why not pull it out for the pics. What is up with the fan in there.....water damage? If it runs has no killer cancer and didn't take a swim it would be a screaming project.

Auxillary fans were popular ad ons in the 70s and 80s in cars that didn't have factory ac. My dad had them in his 77 econoline. Like said above, its fairly straight pick it up!

Use to see fans mounted on back window ledges to help defrost the rear windows in winter conditions or areas with lots of humidity. I never saw one in a Ranchero.
The deal is a good one if the car is not a rust bucket. The floor of the truck bed tends to rust near the front by the cab. It would be good to make a trip and see in person. If you like, Pay for it and arrange pick up later.
I like that style of year of Ranchero.
There is one for sale in Calgary and does not look as nice going for $2500, But it is a GT

Check it out in person.

Crawl over under around and through it.

Check carefully for rust everywhere.

If it looks good, go for it.

It would be a great project.
