It has been less than 600 miles since they were installed. So I would hope not.

Are you sure there's a gasket in there? I seem to recall that there isn't one, not sure though.

Headers....and yes, gasket is visible.

What would an oil change have to do with ticking sound coming from an engine? I think this is incorrect advice.

Not so much , my oil was at the add line and the motor had an audible tick. I usually check it once a month but I lagged on checking it. When I topped it off the tick was gone. Kind of freaked me out a little so I make sure that thing is topped off %100 all the time.
