Exactly, the price is much higher because of the materials. We offer both because of user preferance. Personally I run the soft, but there is nothing better about it that doesn't fall into the theory category.

I see someone posted something about ITP's HPX not fitting early 99's, but I have had it installed on mine for a couple years now. Fit like a glove

I installed the soft hose from clay at riff raff and it is a great product. Well made to with good materials. I will never have to worry about any problems with that things. And as for the noise, it does idle a lot smoother and noise is slightly less as well.
