Ok I couldn't wait till so I went out and unplugged the MAP sensor and it started right up. Plugged it back in and it wouldn't start so looks like a bad MAP or associated wiring. Thanks TRV for insisting I check it and rule it out. Will see tommorow if it is a faulty sensor for sure.

Ok more news on this saga. I had forgotten I had changed the MAP sensor once a couple of years back as a preventive measure, lol. Anyway I still had the original FORD part in the truck box as a spare, just put it back on and it fired right up, will road test Monday and see if it's all good. Thanks again to all who helped with this.

We just wont talk about the gas and trailer rental to drag it home, but I am happy to have it resolved and am glad I save things. Goes to show what kind of help is available on this site if one is willing to ask questions and keep working the problem. Thanks all again.
