1973 F 500 vin decode.. help please

Hello All,

Thanks for any help anyone can give

My 1973 f500 donor truck for my firetruck project has a 2 speed Rockwell in it... the gear ratios are something close to 5.86 and 8.20 hi/lo.. as marked by manual rotation method. I am hoping a vin decode will be more accurate

I have this nice 2 speed.... its a shame to replace it with a single speed rear if I dont have to.. obviously I would have to match my front end, a Rockwell FDS 75.. currently with 6.20 gears to the rear... preferably the 8.20 ratio to give me killer off road gears

Can anyone decipher my Vin?
F50CVQ60086

What I know
1973 F 500 (built late '72).. SWB, Custom Cab, 2 speed rear, 5 speed direct , 330 CI,,,

Thanks

Notme

The only additional info my book gives based on that number is that it's a 2bbl Kentucky truck, assembled in November

Thank You Rick

It was a ship thru to Freuhauf.. who built it into a well puller bed

Now its frame is giving life to my f 600 restoration.. Id love to keep the 2 speed if I can find 4wd front gears to match the rear ratio... roughly 5.86 high and 8.20 low... the stock f600 firetruck had 6.17's
