if you ask nice, maybe 77f2504by4 will make up a drawing with dimensions, and the size of round pipe that is made out of, the rest seems easy enough to make, all you need is someone to bend a long pipe twice on the top pipe then the bottom, then all you need to do is add in the straight parts, and fab up the 2 main masts out of thick flat steel,
i would suggest getting the dimensions for the 2 main mast's then take that too a local place that does custom metal work, if there a good shop, they will have a CNC plasma machine, thus they can cut out the 2 masts from your specs, then all you have to do is make up a simple jig or get someone to help you weld the 2 cross pipes in, then weld your top and bottom pipes on with the bent ends, then weld in the outer straight support, and the cross support what follows the upper 73-77 turn signal,
it all seems easy enough for me, heck i might even like a dimensional drawing too, maybe some day down the road i might want something like that made for my truck
i am sure 77f2504by4 would not mind at all, and i would say that bush bar was a great buy, i can't say i have seen one like that either,
the good part is, i think a regular pipe bender might be able to do those bends, there is another method people tend to forget about, that may work, you can always get a 2 strong friends, and a torch, and simply heat up the area you want the bend, then find a tree the proper thickness, and once its nice and red, have them bend the pipe around the tree to get your 90,
if you use a pipe with a thick enough wall, it should not kink, its worth a try, you might even be able to buy solid round bar, that would be super tough, and would be better to bend, vs a pipe that could kink or distort when bent,
its all worth a shot,
and cheaper and easier than finding one,

the brush guard is 2 peices the center peice that everyone else seems to have and the part that covers everything else. the center peice is the same one bronco graveyard has for sale, there are just a few holes in the sides to mount to.
its not made of tubing, its solid round stock. about 3/4-1" diameter and let me tell you this thing is HEAVY!
the guy i bought it off of told me (and we all know how reliable that can be) that it came on his fathers 76 when they bought it new.
i dont know when i'll get a chance but i should be able to get some measurements.

Untill next time, I leave you with these words of wisdom...
i hope your not leaving JED in the forest to die? i was referring to the plate, the truck looks like its name should be JED anyways, just don't let him die in the forest, and that is a nice push bar, i would guess back in the 70s and into the 80s there was lots of aftermarket things like push bars and side steps, and other little things that they don't make anymore, which is too bad, i think there is a market for that kind of stuff,
-Brent
Thanks the push bar is nice for being 20+ years old I'm not letting it die. it runs all it needs is new front tires. i looked at your truck and watched your vid on youtube and i must say its looks mighty nice. wish my old dentside could look new like yours. i dont think my granddad ever washed it when he was alive and he got it from a construction company and they used it as a work truck so its been through alot. thinking about repainting it one of these days. sorry for such a long reply so peace out
here is mine, i was told by the original owner that it was one there from the factory, but i dont know
yep that is a genuine Ford push bar, good chance he was telling the truth, the factory push bars are hard to find, and from my knowledge no one makes them new in the aftermarket world, which is too bad, since it can drive up the price at times due to rarity, i paid 115 bucks for mine, but then again i had only seen 2 before, and i looked all over, and had no luck, so the 115 bucks was well spent considering it was rust and dent free, and any other new push bar would have cost more, and personally i didn't like what the after market offered, plus these push bars are a dealer installed option as far as i know, which adds to the cool factor, i don't think they came from the factory with the push bar installed? i think it was a dealer installed item

Sayer Lane, I bought a 74 crew cab w/ a grille gaurd that uses the upper bumper bolts to mount...no pics of it yet..it is flat stock w/ the cut outs for the 73-77 turn signals/ headlights, when I get some pics I will post them for you, I may actually be willing to sell it, here is a pic of what was on my 76 f250 that I bought in 83 and sold ...but I kept the bumper/winch set up, still on my 79 sc
here are some pics of the 74 crew cab w/ the winch bumper set up that utilizes the grille gaurd...if you look you can see the grille gaurd lying flat across the frame under the gas tank
side view of same set up

well if you do decide to sell it message me and we can prolly find a way to figure payment and shipping probably. thanks
sounds like a plan, hate to burst anyones bubble as i don't know where lostinfords lives, but i would hate to see the cost of shipping alone, i imagine that push bar isn't light, and with the way they charge things nowadays with increased fuel costs,,,, but if distance is not bad, then shipping will be cheaper, for instance, from Washington state to Georgia would be a insane shipping charge,
anyways, i am sure you guys can work something out, who knows, i hear U.S. postal is the cheaper method vs. UPS or FEDEX

I too live in a house...like most of us
Can't burst the bubble, I have a friend who runs a car transport business, originally from central jersey, ..my area, so he visits often , lives in Va, but runs to Fla...thus the bubble becomes unburstable for the east coast people...sorry brent, I would love to see him expand to Canada, then he could have brought me back that supercab body that was for sale up there.
lol lol tell him there is a great market up here, he can make killer money bringing up southern steel (classic cars/trucks) and make some killer dough off us Canucks, they really lay the road salt thick, its made my Dino a rare one, if i didn't own it, i would never see a truck like ours, i may see the odd one, maybe once a month, but the funny thing is, that truck looks like the same truck every time! (somebody local drives one, 8 times out of 10 its that guy) but i do see the odd one, unless i go too my local secret ( he is a old timer in his late 50s mid 60s, he is a farmers grandson who got the land handed down to him and beside his field he has maybe 50 old pre 79 Ford trucks, every part you could need, plus a whole barn full!, plus every truck is full of parts! from cab to under there toppers in there beds, even trailers jammed with parts!) (i post ads for the guy online locally, not really that big a secret, i get free parts) but its a gold mine, most if not all his sheet metal is shot, and most of his frames too, i got his gem of the whole lot, a frame for my truck, see signature youtube video, 500 bucks for the whole thing, and all it had was surface rust, some time sand blasting, good as new, and a fresh coat of black epoxy primer,
local wreckers said the frame alone would set me back 2 grand if they could find a good frame, let alone complete suspension and axles and NP-205,
i would say i got a deal, but if it wasn't for my secret source of parts, i would be up the creek with no paddle,
so there is a big market for bringing up classics for people, my dream would be to buy a semi truck with a car trailer, and just load it full of cars and parts inside the cars, then make a nice chunk of coin by bringing them up here to Ontario, a few people do it, but not enough too feed the demand, the economy has slowed things down, but there is still a market,
also i think we might have to pull out the road salt tonight, its only 53F right now, at 1:15am est time, its freezing, and its July? Globull warming,,,,, lol lol yeah right!
