Ok, I had the problem on my 98 xcab. Here's the deal. If you don't have the cam/caster bolts... GET EM!!! You NEED those. Otherwise, the techs will force it "in" by a prybar. These trucks come from the factory with a preset block through the upper control arm bolts. You can't adjust camber/caster until you put the kit in. Your local parts store should have them or the dealer. They are a piece of cakeOnce I put the bolts in and did the alignment myself... no more problem. Another cause might be brakes. Are they wearing unevenly, vibration when you hit the pedal? Brakes, tires, are there any loose front end parts like ball joints? Good luck

Papajoe, you honestly don't understand how the camber/caster kit works? As you stated, it's got two offset washers. When installed on the upper control arm, they adjust camber caster. The front moves your camber in and out and the rear moves your caster back and forward. If you'd like, I can send you some pics of mine and try and explain it better sir.

No that's fine I don't do my own alignments and I thought there would be more to the kit than that and I can't believe that Ford charges around 50 bucks to put it in. I also didn't like how they said they installed them and I look and it isn't installed.

It is true what Tex said about the prybar though if anyone needs the second opinion. I know that much anyway.
