I thought the torque convertor locks at 900 rpms.
On the 6.7l yeah, but I doubt it on the 6.2l.

Sounds like the dealers are still ordering those crappy 3.73s for all the gasser lot trucks. Some things never change. The 3.73s shouldn't even be offered in a CC.
