Will my old c6 out of my 460 truck bolt onto my brothers 90 f250 diesel? He has a 4 speed manual now, and the bellhousing is busted on him. So thought about going with an automatic. I thought I read somewhere that the c6 out of a 460 will also bolt right up to a 7.3. Is that true?

Also if that is possible, all we would need is the flexplate and linkage? Or does the driveshaft have to be changed, and what about x-member?

Sorry for all the ?, but trying to see if this is possible, since we have not had luck finding a bell for a t19 yet.
