I live here in iowa so I don't get into the montains But for the hills around here and the flats it pulls as well as my Diesels did. I will run higher RPMs and will pull in 5th gear 50% of the time. But I will not go back to a Diesel After running this truck
If I went any larger with my camper I would go with the 4.30 gear.
My camper is 34" Holiday Rambler Pres. travel trailer with 2 slides
