Thanks guys! heres the issues, there is a gt-40 and a gt-40p head. which one works? there are tons on the p's out there for pretty cheap but ive read that the configuration wont work with the f-150 but only the explorer. Please advise on this one!! also i cannot find a place (local to me in florida) that will do a dyno custom tune for the computer in the truck. i for a company that summit racing uses in like Arkansas, but they just want my mods and they will burn a chip and send it to me. also... what about the PTV clearance? how high of a cam profile can i go to with before binding up the valves?
so from the info you both have givin me it looks like going with the gt-40/gt-40p heads, stock intake, 1.7 rockers, and tune. right? safe? power gain?
