Those are the 2 we have always used. Dad loves the tank heaters.
Also add a battery pad heater that goes under it.
Works very well. Better than the wraps.
We have tried doing the oil pan heaters but they just did not work with all the wind we have out here and kept getting ripped off by snowdrifts.

AK, maybe you can give me some advice. I've been debating putting one or two freeze plug heaters in the V10. I already have an oil pain heater and synthetic oil. My PS pump screams like a banshee for 30 sec when below 0F. I would also like to warm the cab some. So recommendations on tank heaters, battery pad heater brands and sources, and tank vs freeze plug? I'd like to save this big engine from the trauma of daily cold starts.
