what i meant if it bolted up was the intake to the heads and what years would be able to fit onto my (84) 460 and thank you for the quick reply. im just trying to find something that will work on my truck with out breaking the bank and something that will fit so i dont end up with my intake off and stuck till i do find soemthing that will fit... lol thanks again
The first question is where did you find a 460 with a 2 barrel? Since ALL 460's came with a 4 barrel on them. There were 2 barrel 429s, but no 460 ever came with one. All 429 and 460 intakes are interchangeable, except for the BOSS 429, but some of those intakes will have had Spread Bore bolt patterns (small primary holes and large secondary holes and the bolt/studs will not be evenly spaced.
