The closest to bolt in you can get with a diesel are the 6.9 or 7.3 IDI. Powerstorke is a new motor designed for a new frame so its going be custom.

4BT swaps are pretty popular, but fabing is nessacary.

I would love a diesel, but to me there uncharted territory. Maybe one day I will get one when I do not need it to be a daily driver.

Before I got my 66 F100 I found a 86 F250 with the 6.9 IDI. I thought about doing the CV swap on it, a 9 inch with 2.50 gears, and making it a 30mpg freeway flier. Unfortunatly they sold it before I got there.
