Steve - I should have read that other thread further before asking about the strip. I see it's like a 15 foot bytel strip that you can buy from the auto parts store. It says it's like a 3/8" thick "rope". I think I know what it is now, as I've seen that stuff before.

Hopefully I can pull out the trim pieces without breaking anything. Sounds like they are a pain. Maybe someone will have a pic of the back of the trim pieces so I know what type of clips/connectors there are on them. That and I'll look in my service manual, but I'll bet it'll say to use "special tool xxx-xxx-x" or something. LOL
