The oil pump on my '79 4x4 351M gave out last night. The oil pressure has been going down for the last couple of weeks. I checked the gauge operation and it works fine; but, does not register any oil pressure when engine is running.

My question, can you remove the oil pan without pulling the engine? If I unbolt the pan, will it clear the crossmember? I am sure I will have to remove the exhaust manifold pipe because left side maniflod pipe crosses under the oil pan.
