Well I found the solution to my problem. Summit Racing sells a clockwise water pump for v-belt applications, that fits 85-2001 5.0 liter engines. I figured I'd post a link in case anyone else ever runs into the same problem.

I decided I didnt want to start screwing around with the timing cover and stuff, so this should be the fix for me.
