With a .032 point gap the coil will not have enough time to "saturate" and you will have weak or no spark at all. The best thing to do is to go to your local junk yard and find a DuraSpark II distributor, the control "box" and the wiring plugs or harness and change it over. The DuraSpark system is fool proof and is very dependable.
