I know what bostrum seats look like-these ain't it-they look to me to be from a 1957/60 MG) and a fairlane console. Fairlane console? What year Fairlane console?

All he did is have a new warranty plate made.

The truck has the factory reinforcement bosses for the seat brackets and console.
Who welded them in? Ford, the fabricator that made this FAKE up, or?

Yes it is not a ranger, however it was equipped as it is presented less the plastic insert in the shields.

I will have to track down the original trim nomenclature that was on the warranty tag.
The BODY code on this truck is: E81 = Red Crush Vinyl & Red Check Stripe Woven Plastic / 81B Custom Cab.

If this truck came with bucket seats as original, it would not have this BODY code. And since there is no BODY code for 1964's with bucket seats, the truck would have a 6 digit DSO denoting a special order, if the seats were factory installed.

The DSO code is 2 digits.

The truck has a molded plastic headliner...what other Ford truck of this vintage had any such thing? N-O-N-E - NONE!

This truck has personalized CA plates that refer to it as a 1964 Ranger.

Dave, I'll say it again...the owner ADMITTED in front of four people he had the truck made up!

Where are the CD's I loaned you?
