It is not really PUCO doing this as it is the Feds twisting their arm. It may be painful for a short while but everyone will adjust in the end. It is said that the Feds have picked on the big trucks long enough that they have pretty much fell in line so now it is time to pick on the little trucks. The majority of state have been doing this for a while so I guess Ohio is kinda past due for it.

I think the biggest thing is that it includes most private use vehicles. Most assume the it is for business use or for hire only but if you look at the definition of "in commerce" it doesn't say anything about business use.
