My 2000 cheapo regular cab has the "hump" in the bed to accommodate the filler neck, but also has one on the same side in the rear near the tailgate. Was there an auxiliary or larger tank offered?
My failing memory seems to recall that, yes, a two tank option was available sometime in the long-ago past.
