No, the intermittent wipers have a governor assy. that plugs into the harness to give the delay function. If you get the governor assy, and the delay switch, its plug 'n play.
Thanks for the info. I figured a simple switch would be too good to be true! I really just want to get my low speed working again, but thought if intermittent was an easy upgrade - then why not?

This is my first ol' Ford truck, and the switch was broken when I got it. Typically, when you turn the wipers off on one of these trucks, do the wipers return and rest in the down position? Right now when I turn the switch from 'high' to 'off', the wipers just stop dead in their tracks - where ever they are on the windshield.
