first thing... you need a haynes manual, it gives directions. If my memory serves me properly, 2.3 is a clearance motor, so you may have a problem, the valves may have hit the pistons. the plastic needs to come off the front, and you will see marks on the pullys that line up, once lined up, pull the tensioner back, and install the new belt. before you do anymore, check the compression with a guage. if bad or no compression, be ready to do some major work. if compression checks good, put the plastic on, and roll
