What size jets came stock in that carb.
Thanks, Neil
Don't need the info. Most all truck 460 engines came with a 600 CFM 4180 Holley carb and for sure the 1984 did. The 4180 is a perverted version of the Holley 4150/4160 carb which is a good carb. However the 4180 was made into an emissions carb and hurts performance and fuel economy. I replaced mine on my 1984 F250 Super-cab, Super-duty, 460 with C6 and 4.10 rearend and saw a major improvement in performance and MPG. Throttle response was greatly improved and mpg was up 2 mpg and when you were getting 6.5 to 7.5 mpg, 2 mpg is a giant jump. Oh, I replaced mine with a plain Jane old style Holley 4160 carb, list number 1850, 600 CFM with vacuum secondaries.
