The 144 will bolt up to the tranny of the 170. It will match the motor mounts and rad hoses.
It should be a straight swap with minor changes on linkages or vacuum hoses at the most.
As for a 200. It has to be an early 200. I tried to install one from a 1970 Maverick and it did not match my trannys bellhousing or motor mounts. The rad hoses were opposite sides.
I still have it sitting in my truck. I plan to have a 170 I have in a parts van rebuilt and put back in my truck to an original.
