My concern is the shape of the module---I have no way to know if the old Homelink unit is the same as the new---I would bet it is not---I have Stone interior---I could find an 09 that is same color with old Homelink---I may have to go that route if the dealer can't get me adapters for free--darned if I'm gonna pay big money for something that should work. Why can't they leave well enough alone? Must be some cost advantage to the new unit

From what I read you have to split the visor open to get at it---no idea if I could get it back together and have it look new---so best may be to buy a visor at junk yd that matches---might be much easier

I'll post with the solution whatever it is---I really hate using the Genie remote with such an expensive truck
