How long has it been since you changed your fuel filter? This could be your pressure concern. Check the pressure at the rail and see what it is. Maybe a new fuel pressure regulator is in order.

Also, the blower that you are looking for sounds like you left the heater blower running. If it is there and working, you will hear it.
