61-64 Ford Power Steering!

Classic has the power-assist ram type steering for our year trucks; it bolts to the solid front axle itself and uses some really long hoses that move with the axle.... it's an original Ford piece that uses the original steering box and it's available from several places, but they are very expensive and 'klunky' at best.

What most folks are looking for is a conversion to replace the stock steering box with a more modern unit that has the power assist built in. If you find someone that sells a kit for our years trucks that uses that style steering box I'd be really happy to know about it!

Some people have had luck modifying the mid-50's kits using Toyota boxes to work... you can do a search in this forum for more info.
