I have this new problem with my 07 expy. Sometimes when I turn the **** to change where the air blows out of, like from panel to def, it won't change. Then if I keep turning the **** eventually something makes a noise under the dash and it move to the correct place, then it will keep working until I let it sit for awhile.

Any ideas, I am not sure if this is still vacuum driven or electronic.
