Bad idle, sticking throttle, sluggish acceleration.

Ok so I searched to try and find out more about my problem, but couldn't really find anything concrete.

Anyways, about 3 days ago I was driving my 1985 F250. The truck was running good the whole day, but all of a sudden started to run bad. I think it happened after I blipped the throttle in an attempt to accelerate and had to apply the brakes suddenly, so kind of throwing the weight around.

The truck since then has a low idle like it is about to stall and seems a lot more sluggish now. Today I floored the truck to try and get some carbon build up out and the throttle got stuck. I had to turn the engine off, on initial restart the engine reved way out. Second start up was fine. Now I am bit wary on flooring the truck, though in all honesty it may have been the floor mat.

I know it has to do with my carb, but I do not know where to begin. I only know fuel injected vehicles so I am at a lose.

Any ideas guys, or what exactly to check? Also does anyone have a layout or the schemtaics of the stock carb for the 80s era 460s??

Thanks!
